Terms of Use
Last updated: October 8, 2026
1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of kanvas.dev, its documentation and blog (the “Site”), operated by McTekk under the Kanvas brand (the “Company”). By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you use the Site for an organisation, you confirm you can bind it.
Use of the Kanvas platform and services is governed by the separate agreement or order form signed with us. If it conflicts with these Terms, that agreement prevails for the platform.
2. Use of the Site
You agree to use the Site lawfully and not to:
- interfere with or disrupt the Site, its infrastructure or other users;
- attempt unauthorised access, probe for vulnerabilities, or bypass security measures such as reCAPTCHA;
- scrape or harvest content or data in bulk, or send automated or spam submissions through our forms;
- use the Site to infringe rights, to transmit malware, or to mislead others.
3. Walkthrough Requests, Scans and Demos
Requesting a walkthrough, assessment or data-readiness scan does not create a customer relationship or any obligation to purchase. Illustrative dashboards, figures and examples on the Site (including the Command Center views and company names such as “Meridian Co”) are simulated for demonstration and do not describe real customers or guaranteed results.
4. Intellectual Property
The Site, its design, text, graphics, software and the Kanvas name and logos belong to the Company or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to view the Site for your own business evaluation. Other uses require our written permission. See also our Copyright page.
5. Your Content and Feedback
Information you submit through our forms stays yours. You grant us permission to use it to respond to you and operate the Site as described in the Privacy Policy. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without obligation to you.
6. Third-Party Services and Links
The Site may link to or rely on third-party services. We are not responsible for their content, availability or practices, and your use of them is subject to their own terms.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Content is for general information and is not professional advice.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to one hundred US dollars (US$100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
9. Indemnification
You will indemnify and hold the Company harmless from claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or your breach of these Terms.
10. Suspension and Termination
We may restrict or end access to the Site at any time, with or without notice, if we believe these Terms are being violated or to protect the Site or others.
11. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which McTekk is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer or local law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere. Before filing a claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve it informally.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms. The “Last updated” date shows the latest version; continued use after a change means you accept it.
